Start Summerfest weekend with a Thursday night of great music and food. Serving Miller Lite, Coors Light, Yuengling, Summer Shandy, Revolution Anti Hero, White Claw, Cayman Jack Margaritas, and Twisted Tea. Beer garden opens at 6:30pm and bands start at 7:00pm. Admission to the event is a Lions wristband. Wristbands will be sold at the gate for 21 and older for $5.00, ages 6 to 20 is $3.00, and 5 and under are free. CASH ONLY wristbands and beverages.
AXE THROWING BOOTH - NEW FOR 2025
When The Sun Sets bridges the gap between modern and classic pop punk. the groups pulls influence from bands like A Day To Remember, Four Year Strong, Fall Out Boy, and Real Friends. The Chicago natives use strong and relatable lyrics paired with driving riffs to grab and hold the attention of their listeners. With pure energy on and off stage and a mission to bring awareness to mental heal through their music, they aim to make a mark on the scene.
Formed by high school friends Anthony Mravle (Guitar and Vocals), Ricky Churnovic (Drums), Jaydon Pokryfke (Guitar and Vocals), and Jake Evans (Bass Guitar), Exit 122 is a band characterized by its fun and energetic sound. Their music features driving rhythms, melodic lead guitar, and catchy choruses, captivating audiences with every performance. Drawing inspiration from icons like blink-182, New Found Glory, and Sum 41, Exit 122 crafts a distinctive sound that pays homage to their influences while carving out a unique identity of their own.

Friday’s Country Night kicks off with great music and food. Serving Miller Lite, Coors Light, Yuengling, Summer Shandy, Revolution Anti Hero, White Claw, Cayman Jack Margaritas, and Twisted Tea. Keigher Irish Dancers will start us off at 5:30, beer garden opens at 6:30pm, Hoosier Ditty starts at 7:00pm and Nashville Electric Company starts at 9:00pm. Admission to the beer garden is a Lions wristband. Wristbands will be sold at the gate for 21 and older for $5.00, ages 6 to 20 is $3.00, and 5 and under are free. CASH ONLY wristbands and beverages.

Race day registration will be available from 6:45am to 7:45am and will be $40.00. Registration will be under the big tent at the corner of Wabena Ave. and Mondamin St. Please pay by cash or check, payable to Minooka Lions Club. Online registration is $35.00 plus online fee. Registrations after June 3rd will be $40.00. Online registration closes June 11th. Free kids’ races (10 and under) immediately following the 5K.

The Power Wheel Race is a family-friendly competition where participants race their own battery-powered ride-on vehicles. Open to children, teens, and adults, this event promises excitement and fun for all ages. Its new for Summerfest this year!

Knights of Columbus Fundraising Bean Bag Tournament sponsored by Heartland Bank and Minooka Animal Hospital. NEW LOCATION - St. Mary’s Catholic Church parking lot, located next to the Post Office. Check in and final registration at 10am and limited to 32 teams. Starts at 11:00am. Forms available at the Lions Club website or at Village Hall and Heartland Bank. $40.00 entry fee. At least one 18yr old and over per team. PRIZE MONEY: $1000 minimum total payout Cash Pay: 1 paid place for every 3 Teams entered with 12 team minimum (under 12 teams: 4 payouts).
