Friday’s Country Night kicks off with great music and food. Serving Miller Lite, Coors Light, Yuengling, Summer Shandy, Revolution Anti Hero, White Claw, Cayman Jack Margaritas, and Twisted Tea. Keigher Irish Dancers will start us off at 5:30, beer garden opens at 6:30pm, Hoosier Ditty starts at 7:00pm and Nashville Electric Company starts at 9:00pm. Admission to the beer garden is a Lions wristband. Wristbands will be sold at the gate for 21 and older for $5.00, ages 6 to 20 is $3.00, and 5 and under are free. CASH ONLY wristbands and beverages.

Minooka Summerfest 5k Race
Race day registration will be available from 6:45am to 7:45am and will be $40.00. Registration will be under the big tent at the corner of Wabena Ave. and Mondamin St. Please pay by cash or check, payable to Minooka Lions Club. Online registration is $35.00 plus online fee. Registrations after June 3rd will be $40.00. Online registration closes June 11th. Free kids’ races (10 and under) immediately following the 5K.

4:30pm to 6:30pm Serving by 5-B’s Catering Service. Purchase tickets at the gate: $20 tickets for Pork Chop (1 or 2), Chicken (1 or 2), or Combo (1 of each). Carry outs available.

Knights of Columbus Fundraising Bean Bag Tournament sponsored by Heartland Bank and Minooka Animal Hospital. NEW LOCATION - St. Mary’s Catholic Church parking lot, located next to the Post Office. Check in and final registration at 10am and limited to 32 teams. Starts at 11:00am. Forms available at the Lions Club website or at Village Hall and Heartland Bank. $40.00 entry fee.
